The price, security and cleanliness
The location. It's by a busy street that had drivers playing loud music as early as 5 and 6 a.m. but the walk to the beach and centro was not very far.

Awful
The only benefits to the hotel / room is that it’s pretty spacious and the bed in comfortable.
1. manager on site is terrible in regards to customer service. I worked in the hotel/hospitality industry for many years and I expect much better service than what she had to offer which was nothing. 2. the night before my husband and I were checking in we got a message from the hotel on WhatsApp suggesting that we pay for the booking in full through wells fargo which I find to be laughable. If you wanted to pay by credit card they wanted to charge you an added 6% which I disputed upon arrival. This is false advertising and should not happen. 3. Staff are only on site from 9-9 which is troubling if you have any problems there is no one to assist you. 4. Photos of the hotel on booking.com vs what you actually get is a joke. We chose a “garden view” and the view that we received was a gigantic pile of trash on the other side of the dusty road. I do believe this hotel knows how bad they actually are and don’t actually think they care if anyone leaves them a bad review of not based on the experience we had and so many others as well from what I’ve read. Do yourself a favour and find something closer to Sayulita beach for the same price and better service.

Unbelievably kind and courteous owners and staff - we lacked for nothing!
Close enough to walk to town & the beach but quiet at night. Two pools on the roof. A store on property for anything you need. The owners and staff were absolutely incredible! They treated us like family and moved us into a room with a kitchenette at no additional cost when we had to extend our stay as our house remodel took longer than expected. April & Gustavo made a huge effort to learn more English in order to help us. Owner’s Dixie & Hugo poured over security camera footage, identified the person who stole my cellphone that fell out of the golf cart (which they provided free) & got it back for me. Cookie made sure our room was immaculate, smelled so clean and we had everything we needed. Jaimie, (who is an EMT) provided us medicine & made us chicken soup when we got a stomach bug! So much more…. Best hotel experience ever!
